About

Hello, and welcome.

My name is Douglas Busuulwa, and I was born and raised in Uganda, East Africa. I’m married to Madison, and we have one beautiful daughter.

Having lived in both rural and urban settings, I have seen firsthand the challenges many people face, as well as the difference even a simple act of care can make. I attended schools in Uganda and graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.

In 2013, I continued my education at Andrew Wommack Ministries’ Bible school in Kampala, where I graduated with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies. Over the years, I was entrusted with increasing responsibilities and eventually became the Director of Charis Bible College Uganda in 2017. I later joined Glory of Christ, where I was ordained as a pastor. Throughout my journey, I have encountered many people who have gone without basic necessities and experienced seasons of hardship. I have also personally experienced times of need. These experiences have shaped my heart and strengthened my desire to do what I can to help others. I have witnessed how something as simple as food, clothing, education, healthcare, shelter, encouragement, or simply showing someone that they are not forgotten can bring genuine joy and hope to a person’s heart. That is where Touching Lives Together comes from. I believe that when we come together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of others. What may seem like a small act of kindness to us can be deeply meaningful to someone else—and its impact can reach far beyond what we may ever see.

  Inspired by Scripture

The heart behind this work comes from the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:34–40, where He teaches us that when we care for those who are hungry, thirsty, strangers, without clothing, sick, or in need, we are ultimately serving Him.

“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” — Matthew 25:40 KJV.

These words continue to inspire me and remind me that every person matters and that our opportunity to serve others is also an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ. Today, I am grateful that we have been able to reach and touch the lives of many people through the kindness and generosity of others. And I believe this is only the beginning.

Together, we can touch many more lives, bring hope to those who are hurting, restore dignity to those in need, and leave an impact that echoes into eternity.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Our Vision

In partnership with individuals and humanitarian aid organizations, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of those who are abandoned, neglected, impoverished, sick, hungry, or homeless. Through collaborative efforts, we provide essential resources—such as food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care, and discipleship—to restore dignity, promote sustainability, and foster healthy, thriving communities.

Our Mission

Through/with individuals, organizations and churches, we raise funds and physcal donation by fundraising to enable us to plan and develop training programs/projects, provide medical aid, care for the elderly, children feeding and education. All this coupled with discipleship for all ages to help them live a self sustained and productive life individually, as a family unit, and as a community.
